Want to improve your neighborhood leadership skills and connect with fellow Slavic Villagers?
As a Steward you would be expected to:
- Attend educational workshops including Leadership Training from Equius Group and Neighborhood Connections, Trauma Training from MetroHealth and Racial Equity Training provided by the Racial Equity Institute.
- Help develop a Neighborhood Plan using the EcoDistrict Protocol, a new standard for urban and community development built around three distinct imperatives or principles: Equity, Resilience and Climate Protection.
- Connect with residents in your neighborhood and bridge them to resources
- Start your own neighborhood project or support and partner with other Steward’s projects.
We are looking to recruit 10 new enthusiastic and committed community residents to join 11 returning Community Stewards. Stewards will serve from January 4, 2022 through December 31, 2022. Applicants who are selected will be compensated for their time with a $1,000 stipend for the year, distributed quarterly ($250 per quarter).
