Arbor Day Block Party!

April 27 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join the Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC) for a couple fun-filled and informational events. On April 23rd and April 27th, the Western Reserve Land Conservancy will be hosting events that helps to shed light on the importance of urban tree canopy and landscaping.  Be sure to attend to learn more about efforts to create healthier urban environments through tree planting and proper upkeep.

 

TREE TOP THOUGHTS: FREE LECTURE & TREE PLANTING WORKSHOP (Click Here to Register)

April 23rd from 5:00 to 6:00 at Fullerton School (3900 East 75th St., Cleveland 44105)

The WRLC and Holden Forests & Gardens have come together to provide basic tree care training to interested residents. Come learn about basic tree biology, the benefits of trees, and how to plant and care for a tree.

This is a free event that is open to the public and dinner will be included.

 

ARBOR DAY BLOCK PARTY (Click Here to Receive a Free Tree)

April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Slavic Village at Fullerton School (3900 East 75th St. Cleveland, OH 44105)

Volunteers will have the opportunity to plant trees around Fullerton School and support other tree planting efforts throughout the neighborhood. Reforesting Slavic Village collaborated with the Arbor Day Foundation to provide free trees to residents in Slavic Village. The Cleveland Community Canopy program were geberous enough to provide the trees that will be given at the event. Trees will be distributed during this event.
