Over 2,500+ visitors and neighbors came together on E. 54th Street in Slavic Village on a weekend in May, 2016 during the third annual Rooms To Let.  Four homes on the street were transformed into temporary art installations by over 60 artists and makers.  Families of all ages enjoyed hands-on art activities sponsored by Broadway School of Music and the Arts where participants built and decorated their own dream house in miniature with artist Hector Castellanos.  The Zygote Press mobile press was cranking out unique Slavic Village prints stating “Steel My Heart Slavic Village”. The artisan sausage company, Saucisson, served up delicious treats in a beer garden sponsored by Platform Beer Co.  Agumboot Arts programmed music all weekend long and visitors could shop at a Village Market preview.

Rooms To Let: CLE was sponsored by Slavic Village Development with assistance from the Cuyahoga County Land Bank and Sonny Day Development  and supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.  Additional support provided by Community Blight Solutions, SecureView and CoverMyMeds.
