Neighborhood Summit

Neighborhood Summit

This annual event represents a celebration of continuous dedication and hard work by the individuals, organizations, institutions, and businesses who are striving to preserve and develop the great character of this historic region.  The mission of the summit is to empower, enrich, educate, and acknowledge the residents and business owners who go above and beyond every day to enhance our community.

In 2019 the Summit with its “Lots To Do” theme featured David Jurca of Seventh Hill Design who led small groups in breakout sessions to brainstorm vacant lot revitalization ideas. The event always opens a dialogue that each resident is encouraged to participate in to meet other residents as well as provide their input on potential projects. The Neighborhood Summit is an event that allows residents to reflect on Slavic Village’s vibrancy and suggest ways to make it even better!
